The biggest race I waited for 5 years is over and the result was the 5th place lifting 218kg, unfortunately two invalid attempts at 223kg did not allow me to have something better. At the moment I feel disappointed because surely even in my physical condition I could lift more and get a better position but I feel more frustration because I did not manage to do the best I could in the last year and a half in my preparation to I come here with a greater confidence to achieve my dream but unfortunately some mistakes of the past come and dissolve my psychology but because nothing was given to me I have learned to pay for my mistakes and to fight for the best. A new cycle begins, and I will change several things so that in Paris I will be ready to achieve my dream.

First of all, I want to thank my family who are always by my side and support me in whatever I do, my coach Dimitris Ioannidis who believes in me and is by my side, my brother Xristos Dimou who helps me every day in my training, HELLENIC SPORTS FEDERATION FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES and the Hellenic Paralympic Committee that is by our side as much as they can, Dimitris Fidirikos Konstantinos Dandolos Manolis Moutsos John Papagiannopoulos Aris Goutos owners of Opus InnerPleasure Nālu who support me from the very beginning and of course all of you for the positive energy you send me which make me want to continue.

If the state listens after coming to these big sporting events to take pictures and get the praise, I believe that they should act beyond words in order to proceed with the appointments of athletes since 2010 and with the money bonus that are delayed 4 years now.
