The former president of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, Spyros Stavrianopoulos, passed away today. He was a man who dedicated his life to the paraplegic movement.
His contribution, efforts and action were significant for the Paralympic movement
Spyros Stavrianopoulos was the President of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee during the Paralympic Games in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.
The funeral will be held today at the Church of Agios Nikolaos in Kallithea at 11.00 and then the burial ceremony will take place in the cemetery of Gerakas.
The President of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee Mr. Christos Kaloudis will attend the funeral.
